If you are still struggling with ideas, here is a list compiled by Ms.Peres:
- The backyard does not receive a lot of light. The family would like to grow a veggie patch. How will this lack of sunlight affect the veggie patch?
- The family would like to make ice cream at home. The ice surrounding the ice cream mixer melts too quickly. What could be added to keep the ice solid for longer?

What do I include in my blog?
Remember your blog is documentation of your work!!
Below is an outline of ideas you could include in your blog:
- Brainstorm
- Mind map
- Library/internet searches
- Phone calls
- Interviews
- Meetings with mentors
- Notes from field visits if any and other related activities
- At least one of your blog entries must contain links or clips of your research articles. Summarise the key points from these articles.
- Include reflections in your blog. For example, how can I make further improvements to the experimental methodology? How could I improve the reliability, validity and accuracy of the experiment?
- Include images or videos of you conducting your experiment, especially if you have chosen to conduct the experiment at home
But first...Things to be aware of
Digital Citizenship: you are leaving your 'digital footprint', It can be used when you apply for your first job. Never write anything that you may regret.
Do not include any information or images on your blog that could compromise your safety or that of your peers.

Avoid
specific comments about our location or schedules. Eg. DO NOT write: I will
be going to Parramatta Westfield to buy some oil after school
Be
respectful in your postings. No inappropriate language or comments will be
tolerated.
Protect
your log-in and password information. If you suspect that a password has been
compromised, you must notify the teacher immediately.
Do
not share your log-in information about the site with anyone who is not a
participant.
All
use of your blog must be in accordance with the school’s Acceptable Use
Policy, including entries made from computers outside of school.
Uncited
use of copyrighted material in your posts, files, or comments will be deemed
as plagiarism.
To do:
1. Write a minimum of 12 entries.2. Update your blog over a period of at least 4 weeks.
